DaVinci – In My City (prod by Al Jieh of Drums & Ammo)

First single off “The MOEna Lisa.” In true Browntourage form, DaVinci just released this homage to SF style hospitality. I love that hospitality as a subject matter is often explored in rap and hip hop (Remember “Southern Hospitality”?). Tonia experienced his hospitality first hand at his show with Action Bronson. It’s not only a way to evoke loyalty to your geography, but also represent the part of culture that makes Tonia and myself eager to answer to every beck and call of our guests, “If u need somma this, somma that just let me know.” And just to hypnotize you into DaVinci’s flow, Al Jieh drops a dreamy, echoey xylophone tinged lullaby for kids who know what bay streets are like.
